Gu Yun Fan is hailed as the god of war of Tiansheng Kingdom. He sustained injuries after leading an army to defeat invaders from Beirong. In order to ensure that the Gu family bloodline will continue, the emperor orders an arranged marriage. To repay her benefactor, little fox demon Xia Jiu'er marries into the Gu family.
