Gil Parrondo
Gil Parrondo y Rico-Villademoros, better known as Gil Parrondo was a Spanish art director. He also worked for superproductions, building sets or working as art director or production designer.
Among the films of his international filmography we can highlight Spartacus (1960), Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Doctor Zhivago (1965), Patton (1970), Nicolas and Alejandra (1971) or Travels with my aunt (1972).
With these last three he accumulated three consecutive Oscar nominations, winning the award for the first two.
