Kate Laidler
Kate Laidler is a New Zealand actor and graduate of The Actors' Program (2024). Her most recent work includes the upcoming Netflix series East of Eden (2026), where she plays Lois, upcoming feature film Inducive (2026) where she plays Grace, and the theatre production "Mother is a Daughter is a Mother" at The Basement Theatre. She also appeared in the mini-series The Sender (2025) as Frankie, as well as short films Second Skin, How We Say Goodbye and "The Siren", a project she both wrote and performed in. Her stage experience further includes "The Writer", "All About Eve", and "Rushes", directed by Caroline Bell-Booth. A long-standing member of Long Cloud Youth Theatre, she developed a strong foundation in collaborative performance and devised work. With a growing portfolio across screen and theatre, Kate is steadily building a varied and considered body of work, supported by her training and professional discipline.
