Paolo Laganà
Paolo Laganà (they/them), born in Italy on October 28, 1986, is a German-Italian film director whose cinematic work is rooted in a deeply personal exploration of queer identity. Their passion for filmmaking began with experimental Super 8 shorts before moving to Bucharest, where they contributed to works by directors such as Radu Jude, Corneliu Porumboiu, and Andrei Gruzsniczki, among others, and appeared as a performer in film and television. Paolo lives and works in Berlin, where they studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB).
